{"id":897,"date":"2019-05-25T11:31:59","date_gmt":"2019-05-25T11:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greaterpleasantbranch.org\/?page_id=897"},"modified":"2024-08-20T13:54:36","modified_gmt":"2024-08-20T13:54:36","slug":"men-laymen-ministry-1","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/greaterpleasantbranch.org\/index.php\/men-laymen-ministry-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Men\/Laymen Ministry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Laymen\u2019s Movement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd wherever the Laymen\u2019s Movement is organized, the spirit of it will be to see that the Pastor is well paid; and to foster and encourage by words and our money, the institutions of learning that have made space for Theological Departments, so as to have a better educated ministry, better sunday school, teachers, and B.Y.P.U. workers throughout our denomination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To reach young men and help them sustain their lifelong membership in the church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assure their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs are being met so that they will continue to practice good Churchmanship, or more so Christianity.
