Men/Laymen Ministry

The Laymen’s Movement:

“And wherever the Laymen’s Movement is organized, the spirit of it will be to see that the Pastor is well paid; and to foster and encourage by words and our money, the institutions of learning that have made space for Theological Departments, so as to have a better educated ministry, better sunday school, teachers, and B.Y.P.U. workers throughout our denomination.”

  • To reach young men and help them sustain their lifelong membership in the church.
  • Assure their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs are being met so that they will continue to practice good Churchmanship, or more so Christianity. We must meet the needs of the generation by planning and implementing programs and activities that support a comprehensive ministry for young adult men.
  • Provide them with the working tools to fight off the amoral decay that will be trying to rot their souls; by giving the benefit of good Christian guidance to the young married men, to preserve those Christian institutions.
  • Work to advance the kingdom through Christian social action, accepting the demand that Christians are to be active in the service of Christ through the Church.
